The boy who played Jake was great! I have enjoyed him in films for years and he is as captivating as ever. Crystal Bernard is stunning and a real delight to watch. In my opinion it is not a good movie. Take a shot for every memorable moment you did not remember happened in these movies. Nick agrees and you pretty much know what happens.
Steve is so cheerful as Nick he always says ho ho ho on repeat and it can get annoying. However the only people that might enjoy this is children under 12. I look forward to seeing it often in the years to come. We watch it every year and we watch it all year though not just at Christmas. However Nick has to find a wife before Christmas. The very talented Crystal Bernard and Steve Guttenberg were excellent choices.
It seems that so many movies glorify divorce and single motherhood. Hate-watching is a beautiful thing, and easily done. I just wish that there was a final movie to view. I wish this movie is not going to be broadcasts in future not in thirty million years. The whole point is to get drunk and laugh while convincing yourselves that you could make a better movie. This movie brought a tear to my eyes when Nick helps out the Dept.
